Refund policy

We want you to feel completely confident with your fine jewellery selections. We offer a 30-day return window, giving you 30 days from the date you receive your piece to request a return if it does not accurately match our description or imagery.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your piece must remain in the exact condition you received it- unworn, unaltered, and securely in its original packaging. You will also require the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Important Note: Because of the unique and curated nature of our collection, we are unable to accept returns for a change of mind at this time. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin the process, please contact our team at sales@vintagejewelleryco.com.au. If your return request is approved, we will provide you with the correct return address and detailed instructions on how to safely package and send your piece back to us.

Please note that clients are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. We highly recommend using a secure, trackable service. Items forwarded back to us without a prior, approved return request cannot be accepted.

Damages and Discrepancies

We invite you to inspect your jewellery immediately upon delivery. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us straight away so we can promptly evaluate the issue and rectify it for you.

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Certain selections are entirely final and cannot be returned. This includes bespoke commissions, special orders, or items that have been tailored or altered at your request. Additionally, we are unable to accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have specific questions about a particular piece before purchasing.

Exchanges

The most seamless way to secure a different piece is to return your original item. Once your return is received and accepted, you can make a separate purchase for your new selection.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if your order is being shipped into the European Union, you retain the right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days for any reason. To qualify, the piece must be in its original, unworn, and unaltered condition, complete with original packaging and proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we have received and meticulously inspected your returned piece, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund. If approved, the amount will be automatically credited back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banking institutions and credit card providers may require additional processing time to post the transaction to your account.
